Object #006 | Still Life Vase

As though it has stepped out of a still life painting, this vase belongs to a world of carefully placed flowers, fruit on a table and afternoon light falling across the room. Its rounded body, slender neck and intricate blue pattern give it the presence of an object that an artist might return to, again and again, finding something new in its shape each time.

Arrange a few bold blooms in it, or keep to a handful of stems with room to fall naturally. Gerberas make a striking choice, while flowers in softer shades let the blue pattern take the lead. Place it on a side table, a console or beside a stack of art books, as though composing a still life of your own.
